NEW YORK, NY–(Marketwire -03/29/12)- IDO Security Inc. (OTC.BB: IDOI.OB – News), developer of the innovative MagShoe™ shoe scanning device (SSD), today announced that the Company along with ISDS Ltd., an international security consulting and system integration company, will present the MagShoe at LAAD Security Exhibition in Brazil, one of the most important Homeland Security professional exhibitions in South America, on April 10-12, 2012. The event comes at a key strategic juncture as the Company launches its marketing campaign in South America in preparation for a large number of mega events held in Brazil in which security infrastructure is currently being established.
Mega events in Brazil, such as the 2014 FIFA World Cup Soccer Championships and the 2016 Olympic Summer Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro, present major security challenges to the authorities in Brazil. IDO Security has developed a long-term relationship with authorities through professional delegations sent from Israel to Brazil and from Brazilian delegations visiting Israel.
The MagShoe has demonstrated to be a key component in aviation security, as well as providing an ideal solution to other high-traffic venues such as stadiums, bus and train terminals. The unique walkthrough design of the MagShoe offers high security without unnecessarily slowing the flow of pedestrian traffic.
ISDS CEO Mr. Tomer Fulman stated, “We are pleased to work with IDO Security in presenting the MagShoe at LAAD Security 2012. Considering the mega events that will take place in Brazil, ISDS is keen to present innovative technology solutions to the Brazilian Authorities and the MagShoe provides a unique solution to maintain the security level without slowing the flow of the massive crowds on public transportation.” ISDS Ltd. welcomes IDO Security’s solution as part of its innovative technology at LAAD.
Ido Bar-Oz, IDO Security’s VP of Business Development, comments, “Professionals responsible for planning the security measures for all these huge events will be attending the LAAD Exhibition and this will be a golden opportunity for us to intensify our marketing efforts in South America.”
